Service channels

Do you wish to discuss your situation in detail with a financial and debt counsellor?

You can contact us via e-services at a time that suits you. In our chat service, you can discuss anonymously with one of our experts. You can call the telephone service of the legal aid office of your choice.

E-services

Once you have logged in to our e-services of the first time, you will have an e-service account with financial and debt counselling services. You can use the service securely. The service is confidential and free of charge.

If you are using the service for the first time, we will ask you to fill in a background information form. Use the background information form to tell us more about your financial situation. By filling in this form carefully, you can speed up your use of the service.

After submitting the background information form, your dealings with financial and debt counselling services will begin. A financial and debt counsellor will contact you by phone or answer you via the e-service.

In the e-services, you can send and receive messages, provide an electronic power of attorney and submit documents. Later on, a financial and the counsellor will tell you about the documents required to help you with your situation.

Note: The service cannot be used with Internet Explorer.

Thank you in advance for following our instructions.

You can use your online banking codes, a mobile certificate or an electronic identity card to identify yourself.

Call an office

The financial and debt counsellor’s telephone helpline is open every weekday. Call a financial and debt counsellor during office hours to discuss your financial situation. Make time for the call and be prepared to discuss your financial situation (including your income, expenses and debt situation).

At other times, the telephone will be answered by a legal aid secretary. At those times, you can, for example, get answers to general questions about how to deal with your case, advice on submitting enclosures, or cancel an appointment.
